As always many thanks to Chokdeevideo for the upload. This was the main event from the Warriors Night this past weekend. It’s essentially another Team Nassar vs. Thailand show, respect to those guys. Lidon and Yodsanklai met back in 2008, with Yod taking the win by TKO.
5 years have passed, let see if it’s given Lidon sometime to sharpen his skills.

poor performance by Lidon. If I was being generous Id say he was apprehensive but I think Il just say plain, scared, from beggining to end. Shouldnt be getting in with opposition like yod if your gona be nervous of him from the get go.Couldnt really be bothered watching the last round.Aside form those half arsed leg kicks I only saw Lidon throw 2 kicks the whole fight. And that daft knock down the lead arm and jab is only useful if your gona do anything/something meaningful on the end of it.

Unlike most of you I was a bit un-impressed by Yod’s performance. Although Yod got the win, he looked very slow and appeared to gain weight around the belly again compared to his new years fight with Khem.
No where was the explosive attacks like in the Khem and Choplin fights. Yod was sluggish and slow. NO head movement and was tagged several times, even by a kick to the head.
Please do not tell me Yod reverted back to the lazy boy Yod after a few big wins…
With performances like this one, I do not see Yod beating a top 5 contender. However, Yod as of late has been using alot of elbows. Those cheap elbow pads also should be thrown away. If you want to fight muaythai, quit wearing elbow bras.

I thot the same thing when watched the fight Yod got tagged too many times in the face and I think it was more than one leg kick to the head.. Yod needs to work on defence more so he can make sure he stays at the top of his game. There are fighters out there with alot more explosive power in their hands and legs than Lidon displayed in this fight.. its ok to be on the offensive all the time but keep your defence work rate up too. Im seriously hoping Yod keeps his winning form and gets to fight some notable thai nak muay like he did lamsongkram chuwattana and kem

I thought the same about YOd in his last 2 fights 2bh.I dislike watching YOd’ anyway not my cup of tea

People! Lets just remember that Yod hasn’t been persistent in a long time and had a lot of time off. He does look a bit rusty in certain areas of his fight game but I think it will gradually come back to him. He just needs to stay motivated and he will do well! For now lets just be happy that he won yet another fight and I hope he takes a week off and gets straight back to the drawing board. War Yod!!!

people keep saying abuot his ring rust yeah maybe not as active as usual but the mans still had 100s of fights, and its not like he actually stopped fighting.just inactive in 2012 compared to normal, but fair enough he fought like 8/9 times in 2011!, and has had 3 fights in last 3 months.
