Lion Fight Promotions held an open workout for Yodsanklai Fairtex yesterday in Las Vegas. He will be fighting Frenchman Gregory Choplin tomorrow in the main event at “Lion Fight 8″ live from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Choplin is a highly skilled and dangerous fighter who has been fighting regularly for Lion Fight with wins over Joseph Valtellini and Chaz Mulkey.

This will be a historic fight for American Muay Thai. It will be a nationally televised broadcast on AXS TV. There hasn’t been any news of a live internet stream of this event so I don’t know if it will be available to watch internationally. AXS TV is available on most American cable networks.

It just seems like another day at the office for Yodsanklai. Like most Thai fighters he is used to fighting regularly and doesn’t feel any pressure making his US Debut.

The only thing that may be an issue to Yodsanklai is adjusting to the dry Las Vegas climate. He is coming off a knock out victory over Kem Sitsongpeenong in Pattaya, Thailand last month and will be looking to knockout Gregory Choplin tomorrow night.

  1. Yodsanklai will push the pace, get in close to take away Gregory’s reach advantage and look for a knockout! Yod will throw a lot of punches and knees to the body of Gregory and I think he will come out victorious! Don’t take my word for thou guys….I have been wrong before and that’s the beauty of the sport. Unpredictable!
