This appears to be a day of Sitmonchai fighters… this bout features MMT friend Yodkhunpon (RED)  aka the baby face killer going up against Palangtip Nor. Seepueng.  These two have met previously a couple of months ago with taking the decision.  One could say the Sitmonchai camp has a bit of a rivalry with …  Camp ace Pornsaneh Sitmonchai has had 3 cracks at and has never been able to come away with a win.

Let’s see if the young Yodkunphon has a better chance.  , who’s uber agressive and loves to drop bombs, seems to be more patient/less reckless with Palangtip… let’s see if he can walk away with a win.

As always many thanks to Champboxingmagazine for the HD upload!

  1. Even thou he did well I think he should of been more aggressive. Like you said he was much more patient/less reckless in this fight which worked in Palangtips favor. He got sucked into fighting Palangtips fight which I don’t think he should of done. Aggressive striking and hard punching are his strengths in Muay Thai and he needs to embrace it to his full potential! There are ways of fighting aggressively without being reckless and Saiyok is one fighter that is evidence of that. Pornsaneh is always going to go down as one of my best fighters ever because I love his style with a passion but he was/is very reckless at times which got him into trouble and if he had kept that aggression and that strong heart he had whilst working on a few other areas he would of been a lot more successful and I think the sitmonchai team and Yodkhunpon himself need to learn from that and mold Yodkhunpon into the beast he easily could be! I would actually think it would be perfect if Sitmonchai had a good boxing coach on top of the good Muay Thai trainers they already have because we all know Yodkhunpon has dangerous hands but he needs to work on his accuracy a lot more and find a balance of aggression and focus when he fights especially his punches where I think a lot of his success will come from. Once he masters that nothing will stop him and I guarantee a lot more amazing knockouts from him. He is still young thou and has a lot more to learn. War Yodkhunpon!

  2. yodkhunpon seems way to one dimensional right now. he really is a one trick pony. also, you didnt post the fight. nop failure #9,230,349,450

having good hands is fine. but not when its at the risk of losing your balance after every punch….yodsaenklai doesnt telegraph at all and knocks suckas out consistently with his fists. def the superior way to deal with your hands imo.

    • i think this fight was a good sign of muu progressing in his game, he wasn’t gunning for leg kicks and L and R hooks for an entire 5 rounds. he played the points game and unfortunately got sucked into palangtip’s game at the end. i think he and the rest of the camp did well in planning considering palangtip proved he can hang with the power and aggressiveness of both pornsanae (ko) and muu the first time around with a points win.

not only is muu super young still and his game can continue to change up, he’s still knocking people out even when they know it’s coming. hell – opposing fighters have known it’s coming for 10+ years when they find out they’re fighting a sitmonchai nak muay.
