I’ve been talking about a Spong vs. Corbett for a while know… but it seems that Carnage has just upped the ante. I’m starting to believe that this fight might actually happen. I’m wondering if the Slamm guys can’t get this fight to happen. Both these guys have impressive records Spong is 79-3 (56 KO’s) and Carnage 39-2 (31 KO’s) Not sure if Carnage would fight him in Holland. This has got to happen. I predict it will definitely go down in ‘09.
It’s no secret I’m a big Spong fan… but Carnage seems to be making a lot of sense. I don’t think this would be an easy fight for Spong, far from it. I think Tyrone has better hands, but I think Nathan’s elbows could make a huge difference. Word has it there were some issues with the money. The latest twist is that Carnage has offered a winner takes all challenge. That’s actually legit, I guess the ball is in Spong’s corner. What you guys think… this going to happen or what?

I hope the fight happens. Carnage is the better nak muay, imo. Better skill set overall. In fact, I really don’t like much about Spong’s technique. Just his hands.

great fighter, but it just isn’t enough.
i hope he trained even more on the elbows instead of trying to catchup with tyrone’s boxing.
tyrone’s boxing is pretty close proximity, u know what that means. besides the elbows i’m pretty sure it’s tyrone who will be winning.
it would be great to see him drop tyrone, even tough im a big spong fan too

This fight would b one of the greatest fights of the year, imo. Carnage is great with his elbow strikes BUT i think if you have good hands and leg work like Spong does he can take that title away from him. Spong has been workin with Floyd Mayweather Sr for a while now gettin his hand work even more leathal. We would really have to see this go down it would be an amazing fight.

I like Carnage’s style, very exciting, but I will have to go with Spong in this one. He is more versatile and seems a bit more elusive in his movements.
