Are you bummed out that you’re probably going to have to watch The Contender Thailand on your crappy little computer? Well instead of bitching about it, you’re getting the opportunity to do something about. Be in your own damn show. Seriously check this shit out. Many thanks to Michael Soo for the use of his photo. If you’re a Class “A” Muay Thai fighter and you can fight at 75kg then they need you!
“Next year a Reality Show in which the combat sport has a central role will be broadcast in over 70 countries.
22 A-fighters up to 75 kilos from all over the world can qualify for this reality show which will take place on the beautiful island of KOH SAMUI (Thailand). This reality show will result in two winners who each will receive a long-term contract as well as the pledge that they will be qualified for the IT’S SHOWTIME trophy 75 max event in 2008. Also these two winners will fight each other in the Amsterdam Arena in 2008. This whole spectacle will be broadcast all over the world in 13 episodes. Each episode will take 1 hour and can be regarded as the final breakthrough of kickboxing worldwide.
Everyone can register for the TRY OUT which takes place on 20 and 21 June 2007 in Amsterdam (The Netherlands). The travel and accommodation expenses are not reimbursed, but if you are selected the trip to and from Thailand as well as all accommodation expenses will of course be paid for you. Participants of this event will acquire global fame. Which conditions do you have to comply with?
1. You must be an A-class fighter Muay Thai/kickboxing/Thai boxing/boxing
2. You must be able to speak and understand some English
3. You must be available for 2 ½ week in the months October/November 2007
4. You must have an iron mentality since the combat will be demanding both mentally and physically
5. You must have access to both The Netherlands and Thailand
Since this programme is broadcast worldwide we are looking for fighters from different countries.
