Toni Ja?

April 12, 2007 by nopstar

There was Bruce li, Bruce Le etc. I guess there are alway’s people waiting in the wings to capitalize on the success of others. I’m always shocked at the lack of originality of these guys. One could argue that imitation is highest form of flattery, but I’m calling bullshit on that. The shocking thing is how much he looks like Tony. I guess thats the point though huh?

A friend of mine said he went to see this and walked out. I think he said it was the first time he’s ever walked out of a movie. I’m heading back to Bangkok in about 3 weeks, I doubt this is still in theatres.

What do you guys think?

a lil cheesy..a lil over the top, but I think that’s wut they were looking for…I hope that’s wut they were looking for….lol. Let’s hope it’s not as bad as it looks. Oh I have a few more Bruce lee impersonators….how about Law (Tekken), Fei long ( Super Street Fighter 2 )…..oh and how can we 4get, Bruce Leroy?…Shooooo Nuff!!!!

    SpydaMan-

Bruce Leroy! That shit was badass… I was 12 when that movie came out. I’ve probably seen it about a dozen times.

I was in full on Ninja mode then. Damn I had the Ninja Star belt buckle do you guys remember that shit? What the hell were my parents thinking? Actually I probably didn’t tell them the star came off the belt.

I was always mail ordering shit from Asian World of Martial Arts, and out of the back of “Inside Kung Fu”. Did anyone else have the Sho Kosugi Ninja posters in their bedroom? I had both… right next to my Lamborghini Countach poster, oh yeah…

    Bro,

I had a friend named Johnny that wore that ninja star buckle to Catholic school. It was the SHIT!

Oh, and agree, you cannot front on The Last Dragon. That was so badass… “Who’s the Baddest Mofo this side of Harlem??” ” Catches bullets?? With his teeth?? Ni$$a PLeasse! ”

This shit here is so jank he (Tony Ja) has his face covered through this scene. I wonder how many peeps up in BKK sat in the theater going ” Is it him? Is it him? ” I mean, cmon!! This gets 2 thumbs up, straight up the ass shocker style..

By the way, talking about getting all geared up when we were kids. We used to walk miles to this army/navy store that was run by this Vietnam vet. Do I need to say more? I probably bought around 15 throwing stars from this guy alone. I think I was around 12 too. He would sell us anything. Fucking swords if I would have had the money.

Sho Kosugi….damn he was badass when I was a kid. Plus he had an eyepatch every other movie. The Ninja series (esp. Domination) was so deliciously 80′s.

I’m sad he never fought Micheal Dudikoff aka American Ninja in a movie…..the sheer awesomeness of their fight would have blown my head up when I was 5.

actually. the fight is not bad at all. except the guy doesn’t look like he is hitting with any power.

The Good the Bad and the Bare Foot- what the hell were they thinking

    “Who’s da masteh?! SHO NUF!!”

YO…I just got finished watchin this movie and I had to come on here, hit the sitemap and find this post so I could comment on it “Dynamite Warrior”.

    - The movie was whack!!!

    - All of those rockets were unnecessary.

    - The special effect were horrible ( I didn’t expect that much anyway)

    - The storyline was terrible!!!! terrible!!!! terrible!!!!!

    - The fight scenes were mediocre at best ( kill those freakin’ flying rockets, man)

Now a couple of good points (actually…just one!)

-Some of the characters and their powers were interesting (too bad the movie was so terrible)..I personally really liked the Leaping Tiger and the Quick Monkey (No spoiler)

These movie reminded of “Elektra”….Great characters, Stupid movie.
It took me 3 days to fully watch this damn movie. I would rather catch a spinning elbow, a flying knee and a neck kick at the same time rather than go through all the pain of watchin this atrocity again.
