Here’s the latest bout from rising star of the Sitmonchai camp, Yodkhunpon (Blue). You may remember his last fight that we posted, he walked away with nearly a 4 Million baht payout ($125K). Things are looking up for Moo..
Brutal fight, lots fast and effective exchanges by both fighters. I really like Moo’s style, his aggressiveness, I’m not sure if that’s just due to him being so young (18), I’m curious to see if he’ll lose some of that ferocity with age. I think there’s talk about an upcoming rematch with Tong Puinaidee for the 122 lb. Lumpinee stadium title. Congrats Moo and the Sitmonchai family.

I remember someone commented on his last fight saying he fights like an ox and they didn’t see what was so special about him (no names). You can see from this fight that a lot over aspects of his Muay Thai have improved and that he is not just an aggressive wild puncher but that his clinch game has improved along with his kicks and movement around the ring.
He is slowly working his way up to my “favourite fighter” list just below Saiyok and for now I see Yodkhunpon doing great things in the future and would love to see how he does against a “good” foreigner.

Yeah indeed, I can also remember that I said with time he could grow out to become a very dangerous top athlete. Don’t remember who said he was not that special. but I’m glad I’m right. Moo is awesome, and handsome..

Definitely the biggest win of his career to this point.
At an even weight (he was given 2 pounds advantage) I don’t think he would have won, though.
The kid is fighting like every 3 weeks. This was his 8th fight of the year already.
