I know it’s a little harsh, but personally I think she’s missed the point entirely. I’ve seen many fighters use the “Rama firing an arrow” posture. The meaning is unmistakeable, however the way this girl does it… it comes off as disrespectful to the Ram Muay and to her opponent. As you can see the clip is only 4 min. long you might want to watch it until the end.

Don’t get me wrong I’m all for intimidation, part of the purpose of the Ram Muay is intimidation. I think there’s room for it, I’m just not a fan of the way she’s done it.
Old School Intimidation
I think one of the best examples of shear intimidation is the Maori Haka. It gives me a shiver each time I see it. I’m a huge fan of it. The one we’re used to seeing is the one performed by the New Zealand “All Blacks”. The Maori “Ka Mate” it was done by Maori warriors before battle, it’s used to psyche out their enemies. Everyonce in a while they also perform the “Kapa O Pango” Haka. Is it me or do the guys on the opposing team look intimidated? Shit I would be. I’m such a huge fan of it I’m going to include 3 different clips. The first is the Ka Mate, the second is the Kapa O Pango and the third is sort of a suprise.

I don’t want to seem like an a-hole but she had that one coming for showing her opponent disrespect with that Ram Muay.. she went way over board.

So its obvious not everyone should be doing the Ram Muay.
That Maori Haka is bad ass! Kind of weird seeing “whiter” guys doing it though.

The Haka is sick isn’t it? I need to do some research on why they are allowed to perform it, I’m convinced that it really does get into the heads of their opponents. The rugby guys are as tough as they come, so I’m not sure if this would get in their heads. I know I would intimidated.

yes that ram muay was a total insult - where was the tradition and tribute that it is supposed to stand for? if you ask me, she deserved to get her ass kicked.
