The Making of The Contender Asia

October 30, 2007 by nopstar

So here’s our first glimpse into the The Contender Asia. I don’t think it’s going to be their official trailer, but It’s good to get any content from these guys.  Here is it again, enjoy it while it lasts, I’m sure there going to rip this down within a few hours.  Many thanks to our brother Gaijinu of Muay Thai Singapore, for hunting this down

This looks fantastic. I’m trying not to read to much into the fact that this is a Spike TV branded player. I don’t know how it works, if only Spike Affiliate videos are allowed to show up on this channel. Anyway enjoy. Many thanks to Yaoo for bringing this to our attention.

God damnit, if they don’t broadcast this somewhere where I can see this, I’m going to choke someone.

This does look sick. Man, I never get tired of watching Yodseanklai rip off about 20 machine gun high kicks.

We need a couple of those uppercut bags at FNF, Nop!

Looks like team challenges are back. Fortunately they got rid of that in the international boxing version of the Contender. Oddly enough a rematch between Parr and Yodsanklai is taking place in Australia. It doesn’t look like an official Contender match so I am not sure where the show concluded.

There’s a 5 page article in the latest edition of International Kickboxer (Australian Publication) about The Contender Asia. I can send a copy to FNF for you guys to pass around the gym. I’ll address the copy to Nop but I need a postal address for FNF. I’m in no way affiliated with the magazine. I just have a love for the sport like the rest of you guys.
