The Finals are set, October 3, 2007 it’s going down. I know its months out I’ll be sure to do several post dedicated to MAX leading up to the tournament. The news here is that The wild card we’ve been waiting patiently for has been awarded to Gago Drago. I think that was a pretty good call, considering how close his match was. So it looks like it’s the usual suspects. Here’s the line up.

Honestly I would really like to see a Buakaw vs. Masato match up. All of the Masato fan’s who said Masato wasn’t fresh will get their re-match. Personally I don’t see the FEG doing this… don’t think they want their golden boy out in the first round action. I’d like to see Kyshenko do well, I was really impressed with his fight, he completely dominated Lee. I’m curious how he’ll hold up against the big boys. I’m fully confident that he’d KO Sato in 1st round if they fight. Anybody want that bet?
What Match ups would you like to see? What are your predictions?
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

Buakaw versus Kyshenko! I want to see what Buakaw would do against those hammering body blows.

Buakaw will defeat all- Souwer as runner up- unless Masato gets his mojo back. As far as I can see Buakaw is too far above the rest. His kicks are second to none- his knee game is the best and his hands have KO power.

I’m also interested to see kyshenko take on either souwer, masato, or buakaw. My pick for dark horse who just might make it to the last fight is Zambidis, cuz he’s a turbocharged little ball of energy. In all probability though it will be buakaw and souwer or maybe masato at the end. Buakaw for the win.

I’ve watched some Kyshenko’s fights and his body shots looks good. But has the boy ever been up against a top class opponent yet? Has he ever been hit back yet?
That Nicky guy that last fought Buakaw looked dangerous but when he went up against a world-class fighter, he didnt look all that dominant. Kyshenko just might be the same.
Bauakw for the win. The K-1 officials in the first round will post Buakaw vs Souwer just to guarantee they wont have a repeat of 2005 and 2006.
Round 1 - Buakaw vs Souwer.
I could be wrong because I”ve been wrong most of the time, so dont take my word for it.

I like this new kid(Kyshenko) BUt Against buakaw man I just don’t think all those punches are going to happen for him. buakaw has a way of destroying his opponents But setamaticaly breaking them down and if they try to get in his face while heis doing that he knocks them out. if they push to hard he make them pay and knocks them out. so I say buakw for the win. by the way masato does look better recently.

Well…for starter, 76% for Buakaw….I was expectin a complete shut out. What did surprise me though is the fact that right now Albert Krauss is 2nd instead of Andy Souwer…wuzzup wit dat???…..Do yall really think Krauss would actually have a chance vs Souwer or Masato?????…um…NO!..lol. Anyway, Buakaw all the way.

Maybe because he’s the only one who got a knock down on Buakaw- however flash it was.

I live in Thailand and have for over 3 years now. I teach English (and kickbox). After Buakaw won in 2004 he appeared on a Thai T.V. variety show (”Cha, Cha, Cha”). The show set up a banana tree and he came out and with two kicks it was leaning to the side at 90 degrees. He broke a banana tree boys and girls. He’s not of this world…he’s from Thailand! Buakaw cha-naa jing jing! Chook dii krup Buakaw!
