UK MMT readers rejoice!  Clear your calendars; Thai Fight is coming to town.  It’s recently been announced the Thai Fight Promotion will be putting on a show on at the Leicester City King Power Stadium.  The event will be August 17, but I’m going to confirm that.

Why Leiceister?  As you may have gathered from the name of the stadium, the Leicester City FC is owned by King Power CEO and Thai millionaire Vichai Raksriaksorn.

The Thai representatives include the following nak muay  Buakaw, Sudsakorn, Singmanee, & Saiyok. UK fighters include Jordan Watson, Liam Harrison , Michael Dicks et al.

I’m definitely going to be heading to this… Road trip anyone?

  1. BIG

  2. No way!!!!! without a shadow of a doubt going to this!

  3. EPIC. I wonder why they announced it so close to the actual date?

  4. Now, let’s hope the promotion does not show clear bias to the Thai fighters in England like they did in the previous Thai Fights, eg allow longer and more “epic” ring entrances for Thais, let an announcer on microphone urge the crowd to cheer for the Thai fighter during breaks between rounds, etc. If they continue that disgusting behavior in England, they’ll only be hindering the sport.

    • Yeah, and let Singmanee win because he has connection with mafia. Would be great if Pinca would compete here too, Harrison vs Pinca would be insane!

  5. Regardless of bias, Harrison and Watson will be a match for any of the Thais

    • not sure if they are fighting any of the Thai Nak Muay, think there is going t be a whole unofficial UK vs. France card

  6. Many thanks to Raisin Menthe for sending this along… looks like Thaialand & UK vs. France!

    1. Buakaw Por.Pramuk (THAI) VS Craig JOSE (ENGLAND) 70 kg.

    2. Sudsakorn Sor.Klinmee (THAI) VS Abdoul TOURE (France) 70 kg.

    3. Saiyok Pumpanmuang (THAI) VS Reghi Issam (France) 72 kg.

    4. Armin Matli (THAI) VS Abdallah Mabel (France) 70 kg.

    5. Singmanee Kaewsamrit (THAI) VS Houcine Benoui (France) 67 kg.

    6. Jordan Watson (ENGLAND) VS Hamed hassan (France) 70 kg.

    7. Liam.Harrison (ENGLAND) VS DylanSalvador (France) 67kg.

    8. Michael DICKS (ENGLAND) VS Crice Boussoukou (France) 67 kg

    • WHERE CAN I GET THE TICKET KRUB.? I LIVE IN UK LONDON KRUB.

  7. Im confused by this card. Why have they only announced this so close to the show? Also why, with the exception of Craig Jose are non of the UK guys fighting the thais, seeing as they are holding this event in the UK.As mu8ch as I like to see the Thais beating on some Frenchies Id rather see our UK guys having a go seeing as the shows here?

Theres loads of talent in the UK that could put up a good fight on this show.I never realised Saiyok was that big?Is he really fighting at 72?

  8. How can i get tickets for this !!

    • Deviouz187

I’m trying to confirm this, but I’ve heard that the event might be free to attend.

  9. Great news for uk muaythai
Good matches putting uk fighters against frence fighters
Everybody knows the frence are a strong team and have a good back ground in muaythai
And now uk fighters can show how strong we are in Europe
We have a strong team lima jordon micheal and craig fighting buakow a good match Craig always comes to fight he has good hands and a good long knee he will give buakow a few problems
Uk muaythai fans get behind the uk team and support them
    Cheers

will be great, they tell me its in the car park, which is abit strange as with the good old british weather im not sure if its under some sort of a roof, hopefully will be a nice summers day but guess that cant be guaranteed.
