Holland <3 Nak Muays

Turns out most of your favorite Nak Muay’s will be chilling in the Netherlands the week of the 23rd.  Seems like the Dutch have monopolized all the good fights.  Normally I would be psyched… but unfortunately the British Home Office (immigration) still hasn’t returned my passport!  They’ve had it since April, and I don’t expect it back until February! Bovy Sor. Udomson

One of the highlights of living out here in the UK is my proximity to the Slamm events. These guys do a great job building interest in their fights. We’re about 3 months away and they’ve already begun to roll out some promotional footage.

Slamm – Yodsanklai vs. Andy Souwer

Wow I’m beat as shit. My hat goes off to the Slamm folks for putting on a great show. My day started off at 5am and I was off the airport. The plan was to have a few hours to sort out logistics, but as fate would have it my flight arrived a couple of hours late.

The Venue

The Venue was in the middle of nowhere. It was about a 40 min train journey from Amsterdam then a cab ride to the wastelands. It’s literally the only building standing in the middle of the windswept emptiness. I get into the Venue and immediately run into Malaipetch and his entourage… honestly come to think of it I don’t think I’ve ever seen Malaipetch without half a dozen of his peeps with him. Read more

Where’s My Ticket!

Um… I’m not going to panic yet, but my ticket to slamm hasn’t come yet. Until I get them in my grubby hands I’m going to be a little anxious.

Anyway, I’ll just have to print out my email receipts and hope for the best. Otherwise I’m going to be posting how awesome it was outside the stadium…
