So I made mention in my last post about the difference in entrance music on this side of the pond.  Our friend blackwidow, sent me a clip from the fights this past weekend in the bay area.

There is a camp in the Bay Area which has always used non-standard ram muay music.  It’s always bothered me a bit… part of me of me is glad that their fighters are doing the ram muay, but the “modern ram muay music” is just too much for me…  (god damn I’m a curmudgeon) I guess I’d like to understand why they’ve chosen to use other music? Return of the Emperor

I try to cover to all the major Nak Muay’s on MyMuayThai, I honestly don’t know how I’ve managed to neglect one of the biggest names of our sport for so long. Namsaknoi aka “the Emperor” Yutthakarnkamtorn.

It appears that he’s getting back into ring, in the next few months. The fight is going down in Malaysia, sometime in June against Rudolf Durica. Read more
