Sudsakorn vs. Ait Nacuer

September 1, 2009 by nopstar

Last week in honor of the Mohammad VI, King of Morocco’s 45th birthday, the city of Mohammédia and the RMB boxing crew decided to put on a fight.  Pretty good b-day present if you ask me.  Some of the Thai’s representing the RMB squad were Sudsakorn, a very sold looking Somrak Khamsing, Ekamol et al.

Big thanks to truefan of the k-1 fans forum and the RMB boxing crew for sharing this with us.  I’ll do my best to track down Somrak’s effort.   After watching this fight, I’m beginning to wonder how Sudsakorn would fair against more skilled opponents?  Initially i thought this match up was a bit of a mismatch, I really wasn’t impressed with Ait Nacuer and had expected Sudsakorn to smash him.  As the fight wore on… I really felt as is Sudsakorn’s hands needed some tuning up.  I know he’s fighting at 67kg but I feel like he’s a long way from the 70 kg Nak Muays…

what poor sportsmanship from Ait Nacuer. somehow not surprised…

    sudsakorn should’ve dismantled him in 2 rounds. oh well, a W is a W.

I remember seeing that same photo of somrak like a week ago and I was shocked at how…worn out he looks. its unreal, I didnt even think he was that old. probably still a beast though – errr, hopefully.

I wondered if he is on that picture, how old is he actually?

yeah and funny stuff from sudsakorn : )

jesus, what a bullshit fight! if i’d paid money, i’d be storming both dressing rooms demanding a refund….

    1) every time i see the “no elbows” instruction, i get pissed…no elbows? you can’t get cut, concussed, etc any other way? is there any empirical evidence to support this?

    2) unbelievably sloppy technique from sudsakorn…every time he dropped his hands i wanted him to get teeped in the grill and/or chest

    3) poor sportsmanship from both, what were they pissing and moaning about with the first round kicks ? sudsakorn looked like a real fuckstick with that shimmying and rabbit punch…when i think of thai fighters, i think of humility and clean fighting..

How the hell did Ait Nacuer think he won that Haaaahahahahaa !
That guys a bum and sudsakorn made him look like that was Ait Nacuer first time in the Ring… But you put someone with Good hands up against Sudsakorn, sudsakorn is in truble !

celtic i doubt you would be storming anything but the concession stand.

    2. many thai fighters fight with their hands low taunting their opponent

    3. if you think all thai fighters are full of humility you must have not been watching the shitloads of fights where they toy with their opponent to show dominance.

yo why is every ‘thread’ on the front page an article by LDF? when they havent even been active? its hard to see the new ones that way.

    se,

am wondering if we’ve met before..if not, why are you ball-busting? i was speaking, i don’t know, maybe in a joking way ? hands low is a classic way to get ktfo, especially off the break or coming in…and i’ve seen very few thai fighters (except in western/dutch shows) shimmy/shake…but seeing as how i don’t think either of us watch every card at lumpini/rajademnern/bangla/channel 7/omnoi i think i’ll just leave it alone…enough said, i’m not gonna get into a flame war witcha…peace out…

that was insanely funny!..suds knew he got under his skin and kept needling..hey I see it another way..it was an easy payday for suds..kinda like sparring with a student but getting paid more…
celtic I dont see it as sloppy…he came off as being cocky and asking for it but he countered everything…look at his speed and evasion..even when naceur managed to catch a kick he quickly pulled his foot out and teeped him off…I think he showed quite a bit of skill..He basically got under naceurs skin..looked cocky and made his man wade in swinging and he countered all..using just enough energy to win…
I call that efficiency…i`d buy him a sangsom and coke or two after!..I was laughing my ass off..thanks guys..this was good!

    celt:
I seen Thais taunt/needle their man..hey in Thailand they had just as much fun with me too…laughing before and after they kicked me=)..
hey Yods, Saenchai..and famous Ramba somdet (?)…they all f*ck wiht opponents..Yods favours the tongue wagging..lifting the eyebrows…at least to JWP=)..
    Hey if u get a reaction…keep at it=)

Apparently he beat Attachai on points in June and is supposed to fight Khem this month.

would love to see the full fight with Attachai if somebody has it!

Somrak looks like he just woke up from a hard night of SangSom buckets :D

  16. celtic1967 on September 2nd, 2009 12:33 pm

    padkeemaw,

i stand corrected….thanks for letting me know…guess i just assumed from the fights i’ve seen and the little i’ve experienced of thai culture that fronting someone off was bad form, that’s what happens when you assume, lol

celtic1967 not to give you anymore of a hard time but “when i think of thai fighters, i think of …clean fighting”. really man because I know for sure if you trip in the clinch, most thai boxers would either try kneeing you in the face while your falling or kicking you in the spine if you turn your back. Thai boxing is not a clean sport at all you got to protect yourself at all times

  18. Gusnark aka Sandjora on September 5th, 2009 10:44 am

SE, I agree about Somrak. It really sucks.

  19. natemuaythaimaster on September 5th, 2009 4:55 pm

    yeah that is pretty depressing
