Promo Video For Somluck Kamsing vs Chike Lindsay March 2nd, 2013 in CA

On March 2nd, 2013 at the Pomona Fairplex in Pomona, CA Pushkick Promotions presents the fourth installment of “Muay Thai World Standoff.” In the main event the illustrious Somluck Kamsing from Thailand will be taking on American Standout Chike Lindsay based out of Atlanta, GA.

Somluck Kamsing is famous in Thailand being the first Thai athlete to win a gold medal at the Olympics. He has been busy lately fighting in Bangkok having signed a six fight deal with a Thai Promotion. His first fight back was in October of last year. He beat 52 year old Yodwanpadet Suwanwichit at a sold out show at Rajadamnern Stadium.

Jean Claude Van Damme was working Somluck’s corner during his last fight that he lost to Jomhod Kiatadisak. Van Damme was in the ring fanning Somluck off with a towel when the referee asked Jean Claude to exit the ring. Van Damme wasn’t wearing a cornerman’s jacket and it seemed as if he refused to follow the referee’s instructions. You can expect Somluck otherwise known as Somrak to be very busy this year fighting in Thailand and abroad.

Somluck’s opponent American Chike Lindsay is a very athletic and skilled fighter. His trainer is World Champion Khunpon from Thailand and they operate Muay Thai Gym “Bangkok Boxing” in Atlanta, GA.

Chike has been fighting actively in New York and Los Angeles as of late. In November of 2012 he beat Cyrus Washington at “Muay Thai at the Mecca 2” in New York City and in December he beat Christophe Pruvost at “Muay Thai in America” in Playa Del Rey, CA.
