Great news for European fight fans, Slamm is back!  This is the event I look forward to each year, the Slamm team knows how to put together a great show and promote it.  I’ve always been a fan of the Holland vs. Thailand shows as they take some best Thai talent and let them fight under full Thai rules.

I’ve cleared my schedule and booked my tickets.  This year’s line up is exceptional… two of my favorite fighters are on the card.  Pornsaneh and Saiyok will be there to bring the pain.  This will be Pornsaneh Sitmonchai’s first international fight, against a very technical Ilias el Hajoui.  I was told that they’re going to be about 20 fights… there are still some well known British fighters who may be added to the card.

If anyone from the US or UK are thinking about going, don’t worry about trying to order tix online… they are going to leave enough tix at the door for international fight fans.

Mootje Khamal (Vos Gym/Real Fighters)
Miles Simon (Vos Gym/Real Fighters)
Pornsane Sitmonchai
Ilias el Hajoui (Team Gunyar)
Bovy Sor Udomsorn
Anthony Kane (Team Slamm!!)
William Diender (Bora Gym)
Nonsai Sor Sanyakorn
Giga Chikadze (Georgie)
Saiyok Pumphangmuang
Nieky Holzken (Golden Glory Helmond)
Faldir Chabari (Team Beast of the East)

who’s down?

  1. thanks nop! is been 3-4 days i was looking for some details, i think i will take on this show..
possible matchmaking? i think saiyok vs khamal would be crazy, but they’re both in the MPL in the same weight division so i dont know if it’s gonna happen..
anyway can’t miss it: Rambo in the ring and also the start of P’neh international career, everyone was waiting for it

  2. Except for saiyok and pornsanae, the line up is pretty shitty. Bovy just doesn’t perform anymore except for maybe in shoot, and nonsai is just there for the heavier fighters…

  3. I cannot wait to see Pornsanae killing some dudes.
As long as he and Saiyok are destroying their opponents I am fine and do not care about the performance of the rest.

  4. ooh.. totally will go to this! Lineup doesn’t bother me, when was the last time you went to a fight with more than two marquee fights on the card? .. I will say I hope that they have maybe some lesser known up and coming thai fighters in the earlier fights to put up against the locals if it’s gonna be 20 fights

  5. Wish theyd bring some new talent to the table.

    My suggestions:
    Oomsinlek Sitjekan
    Kanongsuk Chuwattana
    Sittichai Sitsongpenong
    Superbon

Pornsaneh, however, is a great addition!

  6. I’m fairly sure Kanongsuk Chuwattana isn’t fighting anymore. He is working as a trainer at Sinbi.

    • Are you sure were talking about the same Kanongsuk? The one i mean fought in september for the Raja 70kg title and won and fought and won in septemeber against chanachai keawsamrit..

  7. Dear MT fans and readers of Mymuaythai.com

We will release the mainline-up of SLAMM!! VII “Holland vs Thailand” this weekend!

    Best regards,

    Harmen Bakker
    SLAMM!!

  8. Cant wait for SLAMM and anxious to see how Pornsaneh does! I dont want to speak to soon about how well Pornsaneh will do because you never know and he isnt as good as he used to be. But I hope he does well and brings the crowd to there feet like he usually does….

As usual happy with Saiyok fighting in any international bouts, he never lets me down and lets just hope he’s 100% and trains hard for a 5 rounder….

Apart from those two I’m not happy with the fight card, nonsai is a good fighter but SLAMM can do much better and its almost like they bring in Bovy to loss so it wont look like the Thai’s have won every fight. I can name so many other fighters of several different weight classes who would jump to the opportunity to fight on this card! Sittichai being one of the main ones and I feel its his time to shine, his style is perfect for these fights and we know he does well against tough foreign opponents beating Fabio Pinca when he was only 18 years old! Now at only 21 years of age I feel he could be the next Buakaw easily but just depends if someone is willing to invest time and money into him…
