This was from last weeks bouts at Lumpini. Many thanks to Damien Trainor for posting this clip. If you aren’t subscribed to his youtube channel, you should do so now. Singdam is a nak muay who’s been at the top of petchyindee promotions for years. He was named fighter of the year back in 2002, and he still going strong. A lot of people feel that he can earn the Muay Thai fighter of year if he continues to win.
Nong-O is… quite simple one of the best pound for pound fighters in our sport. He was last years fighter of the year and the current Thai champion at 133 lb. He’s beaten pretty much everyone ( Sanchai, Sagetdao, Jomthong, Sarm-A, Pakorn) and the list goes on.
These two have met 7 times over the years with Nong-O leading with 4 victories and 1 draw.

You mixed the names of the fighters LOL
“(…) Singdam is a nak muay who’s been at the top of petchyindee promotions for years.(…)
Wrong, Nong-O is from Petchyindee, not Singdam.
“(…) He was named fighter of the year back in 2002, and he still going strong. A lot of people feel that he can earn the Muay Thai fighter of year if he continues to win. (…)”
That’s true for Singdam… not for the Petchyindee fighter…

Nong-O is indeed one of the best… and he is the current thai champion at 133 lbs.

Not sure about this, the only thing I know is Nong-O lost his two last fights to Singdam. Can you please post the results and dates for all the other 5 fights?

ah, btw… last year figter of the year was Sam-A and not Nong-O as you say. Both are from Petchyindee academy…

Yes, correction, I meant to say Nong-O was part of Petchyindee not Singdam.
you can find the results and dates via Nong-O’s wikipedia page

Love both of these guys. Such a good fight. I’m always stunned when the top notch guys bang it out like this. Wonder how many weeks they hurt for after.

Probably not too long considering they’re fighting again a month later.
Thai’s are hard!
