The Rants and Ramblings of a Muay Thai Fan

Say Hello to Mark

Hey Fellas,

I’m excited to introduce you guys to Mark Mian. He’s a co-founder of the AlterCenter in San Francisco.

I met Mark about a year ago when he was training Neungsiam (my trainer). Neungsiam had taken quite the hiatus from the ring and needed every advantage to get back into fighting shape.

Personally if I had an upcoming fight and I could assemble my own personal “A Team” I would have Nuensiam to make sure my skills were up to snuff, and I would have Mark to make sure my mind and body were in sync and ready for war.

It’s a serious endorsement, when Jongsanan and Nuengsiam both claim they wouldn’t even think about preparing for a fight without Mark. Nuengsiam admitted to me that if he would have had Mark with him in Thailand, it would have extended his career and he would have been a much, much stronger fighter.

Mark is going to be doing a new segment on MMT called “Transformation”, I know you guys will appreciate the knowledge and insight he has to offer.

Mark, welcome to the family that is MMT. I’m looking forward to being enlightened by your wisdom. I can’t wait to read your first segment. Nop eternal thanx for even taking the time to do what you do for us on a daily basis, and thank you for caring enough to even go through all the trouble.

Awesome, great exercises, I’ll make sure to put em to use in class, can’t wait to see your “core” excercises and advice on how to speed your kicks and ad power to them as well. I can also tell that you know what you are talking about, Thank you.

Very good! I am glad to see someone who is knowledgable with the inner workings (science) of training a fighter.
