This clip is from the Lumpini birthday show from this past week.  We’re going to on a steady diet of quality muay thai for the next couple of week.  It’s so apparently clear that Sarm A is really in a league of his own.  It’s really no surprise that he was recently named the Muay Thai Fighter of Year 2011.

This match is a title defence at 122 lb. but Ritthidej doesn’t even appear to be in the same league as Sarm A.  He just make’s it look so effortless.  I’m always amazed by the speed and accuracy of his teeps. It’s almost as effortless as throwing a jab… He’ll alternate them from front to side teeps and if you’ll notice he appears to wind Ritthidej with one of his teeps in the later rounds.

  1. agreed!. I need to drill those teep timing more, Sarm is a role model for this. Eykusang also has laser guided missiles for teeps

  2. Samart Payakaroon was a beast with the teeps too.
