Sanchai vs. Rob Storey

Props to Nakmuay21 for taking the time to film and upload this clip. This is the only clip I’ve been able to find, I think the Sky footage will probably take ages. It isn’t much of a fight, but then again Sanchai does have that effect on people. I think half way through, Sanchai decides he doesn’t really want to hurt Rob, so he just decides to have a little fun.
Its always a pleasure to watch saenchai in one of his exhibition fights doing all his tricks and fancystuff and I dont for a minute blame either Rob Story or Saenchai for taking the fight.But, as many people said before hand and was proved in the fight it really really was a completely insane mismatch.Although just about everyone is a mismatch with SSK.But still.No disrepect meant to Rob or the organisers but it did seem pretty much like a waste of time.
I just watched this like I watch all those youtube clips of Saenchai ‘play sparring’ with people when he visits camps. Basically an exhibition / sparring match, and I don’t say that to disrespect Rob, but it’s pretty clear that what it became. Still waiting for Saenchai to bust out some old school Muay Boran like Somrak did… =)
BTW, much respect to Mr. Storey, he was very game.

sanchai is a class of his own and respect to rob for stepping in the ring.
Fight shouldn’t have happened. There are plenty of good fighters out there that can give Sanchai a hard fight, but the promoters aren’t doing it.
News flash, don’t technique the technique master. I want to see Sanchai get pushed to his next level (much higher than any mortals) and come out the winner. That or he should do charity exhibitions.
Great to see Saenchai in action. Great to see him bring out his aggressive side and see how much power he really has hiding behind all the tricks.

Ps I thought Liam Harrison held his own against him. who do you think would be a worthy Farang for Sanchai to fight?

rob can claim hes the only one that kissed sanchai. it was tight when sanchai double punched rob. bit not that tight cause its happened to me during sparring. :(

There are no farang Nak Muay that can give Sanchai a good match, Sanchai toyed with Harrison who is considererd one of thre best non Thais and he is naturally bigger as well
