Just came across this video of Sanchai & Orono today, for mymuaythai regulars there isn’t really anything you didn’t already now… but I’ll always give these two legends love.
I had no idea Orono was teaching at 13 coins! I need to go pay “Black SuperMan” a visit next month when I’m back. BTW, I’m not being racist… that really was his nickname! Dude seems like a riot…
This vid is by Anthony Graceffo aka the Brooklyn Monk, it appears he and Robert form Fightjapan have been cruising around Thailand collecting material. Big thanks to Anthony for putting this together.

haha, orono reminds me of this haitian kid from my gym. strange.
something i had completely forgotten about until now – ever notice when an english speak foreigner is around a broken english thai…their english becomes broken as hell and they start sounding like the thai trying to speak english? love it.

Wow..takes me back to a couple o months. Coke is a real nice guy..came and said Hi to me and made me feel welcome..ps duck curry is friggin amazing at that 13 coins..girls who work there are real nice to you once they get to know you
fyi..NO cabbie in BKK can find it easily..be sure you get directions for them…on way from MBK even the address was not good enough..This 13 coins is in the middle of decayed suburbia..and mind you there are many so dont just ask for 13 coins..cost you a 1200 bhat cab ride=)
I saw my padholder in this vid…actually he called for high kick and I accidentally put it in his mouth…I thought I was gonna get my ass kicked…and he looked like Bolo too..and just as big!
get a cell cuz u cant call out from the room phones (least I could not)
no internet in room but 4 computers in lobby
It can get solitary there. My gymmates were at Fairtex in Theeparak Rd. They were surrounded by other fighters. UNless you are a loner, you would be best going in with a mate or two..or make friends.
The bags are nice and hard…leather toughened by being out in sun and rain=)..shins loved it..
and of course..shaking saenchais hand is priceless!!!!!!!!!!!! getting a pic with thim…life changing

Aren’t those the same guys who claimed “Muay Thai front Low Kicks are not useful”?? I wonder what they think now!

LOL..thats true..its all hypothesizing until that “useless” MT leg kick gets planted on your tender leg muscles..turns your world upside down when something apparently harmless really rocks you
