How do you come up with a Ring Name? For those of you out there who actually fight, how did you get your name? Did your trainer name you? Were you like ” I’m a fucking crazy half man, half machine fighting machine…. Call me Hyper Battle Cyborg” ? If I had a fight name it would probably be “The Gut” or “McFatty”.

Here are 20 actual ring names, how well do you know your fighters? I’m guessing most of you will be in the 10-15 range.

1-5: Weak, your only on this blog because you searched “Porpramuk Gym” in google. You just started training because you wanted to improve your “Stand Up”
5-10: You don’t really keep up with Muay Thai or K-1, You watch fighter HL clips on Youtube while at work.
10-15: Your an avid Muay Thai and K-1 Fan, You probably train, good chance your European.
15+: Your a Fanboy. You probably spend a good deal of time on the forums, and Bit-Torrent…probably have posted 50x or more.
All 20: Your a Nuthugger! ( you knew “Hyper Battle Cyborg”? ) You need to get out more. You probably even have a lame Muay Thai blog.

Lumpini is more famous, but Ratchadamnoen has the same fragrant mix of Thai bookies, western gawkers and desperate fighters with names like “Hyper Battle Cyborg” or “The Turbine from Hell” (take the full ring-name quiz at My Muay Thai).
