Ricardo Van Den Bos

We’re still about 2 weeks away from the WBC fights on September 8th. I’m really looking forward to these fights. I don’t think there has been a Muay Thai card this interesting in a long time. In that time I’m trying to line up some pre-fight interviews with Michael Mananquil, RaKarm Young and possibly Kaew Fairtex.
One of the guys I’m looking forward to watching is Ricardo Van Den Bos. Bos started training Muay Thai when he was about 12, his parents owned a Muay Thai gym in Holland. When he was 14 it they decided to send his ass to Bangkok to live and train.
Bos who’s now 22 currently trains out of Fairtex Pattaya. On the 8th he’ll be facing Shane Del Rosario for the vacant WBC Heavyweight title. I don’t know much about Rosario, I see that he’s been training Vale Tudo and has some MMA experience. I’m more curious about where Fairtex is finding these fighters to fight for vacant titles?
In an interview with the Bangkok Post, Bos’s trainer like me hadn’t heard or seen anything on Del Rosario, when asked to comment Hoovers replied
”I don’t care about Rosario because I know what Ricardo can do,”
”We have been working to get Ricardo totally ready so it doesn’t matter what the American does.
”We are going to make Rosario fight our fight and he isn’t going to like it.”
You can read the rest of the interview here.
This should be an interesting fight, hopefully some of you guys are going to be able to make it.

Looks like a really nice card.
Anyone know if it’s gonna be viewable on the internet? (even afterwards)
I can’t make it to the fight, but I hope to see watch the videos after. I think this the first time for Kaew fighting in the US.
are there still tickets available?
I ordered mine over the phone just the other day.

Good fights, Shane Delrosario destroyed Ricardo Vanden Bos! Knocked him out in the second round after knocking him down three times.
