Remy vs. Melvin

While we’ve been busy covering The Contender Asia, there seems to have been some pretty good fights happening over in Amsterdam. This past week the K-1 Heavyweights were busy mixing it up… thanks to Gusnark and Tong Po for passing these along.
I’m not big on the heavy weights but occasionally you stumble on some battles… this next fight was pretty intense.
I really didn’t know which way this was going to go. Melvin reminds me of an enormous Zambidis… I saw Melvin when I was at slamm, and we were about the same height but I’m way more cut…
Yeah, that was a great fight.
But it is evident that Remy is better and stronger fighter. Hell, look at the size difference. You just can’t fight a guy who’s 10inches taller and uses his legs superbly.
Lol, couldn’t stop laughing at his sponsor though.
I’m trying to find fight with Buakaw, Saki, Drago. So far only short CAM clips.
Thanx for reminding me why Remy is my all time favorite K1GP fighter (#2 is Hoost). Both fighters did great during this battle but Remy’s kick counters and knees proved to be too much for Melvin. I just love Remy’s defense….all he cares about not gettin’ hit in the face or the ribs…..other than that he’s like “ur more than welcome to try a crack those bricks I call abs, and my legs are made of adamantium so u can kick at them all day for all I care…..U CAN NOT HURT ME!”….lol. Melvin was outmatched, period. I don’t think this was a good matchup for him.

The size difference made a hell of a lot of difference- combined with the use of those kicks and the jumping knees! Melvin took one hell of a beating.
Although you are more cut than Melvin, Nop, I think he is more well endowed!!

thanks guys, that was a great fight! I love watching the heavyweights fight… it’s a bit hard to find sometimes. And Remy is a legend!
Melvin needs to go down in weight.
