I was thinking about some of the strange stuff you’ll run into in any country when you venture off the beaten path. I found this next vid on Fightgeeks blog, seriously I don’t know where you find have this stuff.
Anyway, I was looking over the comments from Fightgeek and it immediately reminded me of this vid. This is the annual shin kicking competition here in Engerland. Seriously you can’t make this shit up. This just confirms my theory about redneck games… boredom + booze = a redneck sport.
Who knows maybe a nak muay could clean up in this competition?
haha oh man, that’s hilarious. I think a nak muay would do very well lol. Reminds me of last week, I was at a friend’s house watching UFC (shame on me) and a buddy wanted to know how to block a kick. So I told him to kick me. He spent the rest of the night rotating cold beers on his shin and wasn’t very pleased with my teaching style haha.

A savateur would totally clean up in those fights. A Coup de Pied Bas is a big part of Savate as is a foot check. Plus the added bonus of pissing of English by being beaten by a French system is pretty great too
looks like fun for someone who has some clinch and sweep skillz/
dont get me wrong, i’m all for hating the french but savate is cool. and not just because of the tights.
