Happy Friday Nak Muay! We’ll end our Pornsaneh Sitmoncahi week with another Muay Thai Minute from the man. During the filming of this Pornsaneh told me that he picked up this little technique from Sanchai.
As you can see it’s dead simple, and super effective. It’s important to stress that the power comes from your shoulder, and that you really need to turn your opponent into you (if that make sense). Many thanks to MuayThaiMex for being the MTM guinea pig.
Work this with your partners, and be gentle… Have fun and happy sparring.
Once again many thanks to the Sitmonchai family for their hospitality and especially to Pornsaneh for taking the time out to hang with us!

Mart did that to me before. Its a good technique, when you are tired and want to hurt someone’s face.

nothing like getting your chin crushed and choked at the same time.
we practice a technique like this at our gym with the shoulder underneath the opponents chin and the ridge of the forearm on the back of the neck. nutcracker type physics, truly uncomfortable.

There are some nice twist downs from this position.
This kid is a South Thai champion and is a master of this clinch position.
