This next fight has been a the much anticipated match up between Pakon Sakyothin vs. Kongsak Sitboonmee. (127lb) The winner of this match will be voted the muay thai fighter of the year, by the thai sportswriters association. I was fortunate enough to catch Kongsak a couple of weeks ago at Raja… it’s hard to tell from watch the footage, but his left kicks are monstrous. As I had mentioned in an earlier post, he’s the master of cracking the shell, he’s been known to take out fighters with his repeated kicks to the arms.

pretty obvious win for kongsak IMO, when they start using the hands in the 5th you can be sure they know they are behind
what i heard was pakon was in monkhood shortly before this fight and was not fit, hopefully there will be a rematch
