Happy Friday Nak Muay, and welcome to today’s Muay Thai Minute brought to you by Kem Sitsongpeenong. I asked him for a personal favorite, and this is what’s he’s going to run through with us today. It’s a variation on the clinch shrug we’ve covered so this shouldn’t be completely new to you.
Be sure to turn on your closed captioning so that you can follow along. Essentially you use your chin to trap your opponents arm, you’ll reach out with your arm and press against there face. As Kem points out it’s really important that you utilze your opposite hand to block their arm, otherwise you’ll be open to shots to that side. As Kem points out the more you opponent tries to hang on your neck or the more they resist, the more painful.
Anyway, have fun with it. Many thanks to the folks at Sitsongpeenong for the their time.

Here’s the true translation:
I’m Kem and I’m a fkn bad ass. Let me show you how I will submit this fat farang a-hole with a standing arm bar. Hugs and kisses. Hahaha
The other takes we filmed were actually much more brutal. A definite must try.

Gian: yes, the pressure starts at the neck (left side) then right shoulder then right elbow. It really is a standing arm bar.

That makes sense. Thanks.
