Hello and happy friday… in todays MTM coach Damon of Singdayt Muay Thai walks us through some very helpful footwork.  If you’ve never used this, you need to work it in immediately.  As Damon explains it’s a very effective way of closing the distance.  The raised knee in the hop, can serve several purposes…  as Damon mentions it can be a fake (teep), or  defensive…

This sounds like common sense, but make sure you’ve got something planned at the end of your hop!

  1. lol @ dropping him a the end

  2. poor, poor Martin. We should start a campaign to get Martin to throw Damon.

  3. I use it all the time……I usually follow it with a knee (back leg)….or leg kick (back leg)…………..as for Martin….I really didn’t expect him to get thrown…as a matter of fact while watching Damon showing the technique I was saying to myself “Good!!…Finally Martin won’t get thrown in this video..I mean how could he possibly get dumped with this techni……*Shwooomp!*….Nevermind!”

  4. Been saying that for weeks, we gotta get Martin to do an episode and dump him..hehehhe. I don`t know Martin but he may be quite the undercover character

  5. We should start a FB petition for Martin (Aka Silent Mart) to either: a) get a speaking part or b) do a Mortal Combat “Finish Him” move .. But I’ll settle for a suflex compiments of Martin and then have him just stand over ‘coach’..

  6. I nominate ‘coach’ as a bully for “Bully Beatdown” on MTV hahahahahaha
