It looks like we’ve got another Muay Thai flick to look out for. MMT friend and K-1 fans forum mod, Hellfighter was fortunate enough to be invited to watch a day of filming for Aukmen (Ahmed) a new Muay Thai action flick.

Hell says that instead of producing another high flying stylized Muay Thai movie they are going in the opposite direction. The action isn’t going to be pretty, ala Ong bak but it’s going to be realistic and uber violent…nice.

Anyway what’s noteworthy about this is they are going with famous Nak Muays.

Which virtually guarantees the acting is going to be shit, but hey I’m not really going to be watching this for plot or dialog am I?

So the Nak Muays he’s listed read like a who’s who of Muay Thai:

He says their done filming in December and should be out by the middle of next year. I’ll keep an eye open for it. I’m a little hazy on the plot but it looks like Kaoklai is the champ, new guy Ahmed wants to train, Kaoklai doesn’t want to give him the time of the day… like I said I’m not watching it for the plot.
