Just came across this vid of little Million Manhoef, yes big Mel is his pa. Anyway I think I read that he’s 5, I’ve got a sneaking suspicion that in 10 -11 years we’re going to be seeing him in K-1. I think I could take him though…
Then again who knows where he’ll be in 10 years. I’ll be old and bitter by then, wonder if I’ll be training? Probably be too arthritic… He’s got skills though.
His hands astound me… Oh yeah I forgot to mention I started working with a new boxing trainer. Paulie G… he’s been a trainer for the past 18 years. Dude’s legit, he’s got a really thick east end accent (think brick top from snatch) somehow makes it seem all the more authentic? Anyway the reason I bring this up, is that if you fast-forward to 4:20 (dope smokers calm down) of Million’s workout, I was working this exact combination on Friday. (With far less speed)
oh well… Any of you fellas got bebe kids, if so do you train them?

What a tool… That kid should learn to keep his hands up, or he’d be in for a rude awakening if he steps in the ring with me… LOL. Seriously though, once this kid grows and puts on some body mass, he’s gonna be a mean mofo like his dad. Imagine how much more skilled he’ll be in another 5 years, let alone 10 or 15?!
On a side note, he’s got the coolest hair ever for a 5 year old…

“What a tool…” 555+ lol thats funny.
That was not even worth calling impressive. I don’t check the blog for a week or 2 and this is what it comes to!? This is not muay Thai, it’s a circus!!

Wow he’s a pressure fighter just like his daddy. So cute lol.
Kickboxing isn’t necessarily my cup of tea, but i have to admit this kid as skills and reflexes. Can’t deny that.

Sure he’ll be a terror in the ring later-on, but I can’t help but think that such intense training isn’t good for a 5-year-old’s body.
BTW, great site!

LOL nopstar.
Kinda rude but funny as hell.
EC, totally agree with you. That’s not a normal training for a kiddo. I hope he doesn’t lift weights, cause he’ll have problems later. Kids that were into weight-lifting stayed small with the muscles not developing normally.
Kiddo looks promising, hope he doesn’t become an arrogant idiot as his dad is.

maybe a little. I rack my brain M-F to find things to post… it can become a chore. So when I people bitch about content, I can get a little testy.

looking at his body right now, it seems like once he hits puberty he will have alot of extra muscle mass like his poppa. Hopefully he grows tall instead of short and stocky like Melvin. And i also pray that he doesn’t do any ridiculous skippidy dancing in cowboy boots before fights like his pa.

I thought it was an interesting post…i wish i’d started that young, things would be so much easier now!,
but cmon, the kid only won the fight because the big guy was made to kneel, if the big guy was allowed to stand up i’m sure he would have killed the kid…another example of a lack of transparancy from the promoter i feel…………..hehe

How can any one say that it wasn’t impressive, he’s 5!! I don’t think most of us even had the coordination to catch a tennis ball at that age!!!
I Wana see him fight a thai kid tho when hes a little older, he would be a hit in the thai circuit mayb even the first black lumpini champion.
