It looks like it’s going to be a pretty good month for European Muay Thai fans. As you know I’ve just moved to the UK and last week I finally got around to submitting my visa paperwork. The bitch of the whole process is that I had to hand in my passport for about 6 months. It essentially means my ass is on lockdown.

On the 24th of this month, our friends in Paris will be treated to an all-star lineup. The line up includes Anuwat, Sanchai , Narupol, and Attachai. I’m not sure who’ll they’ll be fighting yet… if any of you guys know, please share. Anyone interested can get their tix here.
Just a few days later on the 31st, Swedish Muay Thai Fans will be getting some serious K-1 action. Badr Hari, Yodsaenklai, Ole vs. JWP, Dzhabar, Bruce Mcfie et al. You can check out the whole line up here.
I’m interested in seeing the Ole & JWP showdown. Personally I think they are pretty well matched. I haven’t seen Laurson fight in sometime… he seems to always start off with a bang, but always gets caught with something. Hopefully JWP will be in good place mentally, I know he’s going through a great deal with his father at the moment.
I’m gutted that I’m grounded… I think I would have chosen to go Stockholm. Any predictions?

Looks like I will be the first to reveal the sad fact that JWp is not fighting. Too much going on with his Dad.
So… hope this is cool to say and not sure if it is official, the rumor is it is Zambidis taking JWP’s place against Ole.
Nop, why can’t you go?

no passport, no traveling, that really sucks. There’s apparently a decent night going on in London on the 18th, Nop. Haven’t heard of any big names, but there are still six full thai bouts on the ticket. Have you heard of it?

zam v. laursen. that would be crazy exciting. unfortunately, Ole, looks a bit prone to hard bangers.

anuwat apparently still hasn’t received his french visa.
wtf?!! nop, are you sure about this lineup? the webpage says “narupol vs villaume”, with a poster with pictures of saenchai, buakaw no anuwat on it. i don’t want to pay up and not have anuwat and friends show up.

Saenchai won’t be there. ‘Hellfighter’ from K-1Fans asked him directly. Mr Cox says it’s because they couldn’t find an opponent… Anuwat might be fighting Andrei Kotsur?
