is a legend well known around the Muay Thai World. He will be fighting on the Undercard at Pushkick Promotions “Muay Thai World Stand Off” March 2nd, 2013 at the Pomona Fairplex in Pomona, CA. The main event for the evening is American Standout Chike Lindsay vs Thai Legend Somluck Kamsing. Matee’s opponent at this time is unknown.

Matee Jedeepitak fought regularly in Bangkok at Lumpinee Stadium in the 90′s which is considered the “Golden Era” of Muay Thai. He has had 200 professional fights and has defeated several great fighters, one being Sakmongkol. He held the Lumpinee Title multiple times along with several other prestigious titles. There are several videos on youtube of Matee fighting in the 90′s in his prime.

If you are not familiar with Matee Jedeepitak I strongly recommend you check out Matee vs Wangchannoi at Lumpinee Stadium posted by Boxing Works. Wangchannoi is another great fighter from this era. It’s a very entertaining fight and it’s fun to watch the gamblers interact with the fighters between rounds.

While we’re at it I recommend you check out all the fights posted on youtube by Boxing Works and GKfromMTA. These two guys get major props for uploading tons of great fights. We will post the entire professional undercard for “Muay Thai World Standoff” shortly.
