Quite the brawl… I believe this was from the Pride NYE show. I’m was pretty surprised by the outcome…
I was particularly surprised by Souwers performance. I thought he looked tentative and flat, not his normal work rate or level of aggression. I’m sure he respects Masato’s hands but, I don’t think he did nearly enough in the opening rounds. He was so caught up on dropping Masato he was eating shots like Bovy.

This is one of the best fights i’ve seen them in. Most surprising is that Masato stayed in good shape this whole time – he was going like a locomotive all 3 rounds.

i was kind of torn during this fight, seeing as how i despise both of them.
he was prolly in good shape preparing himself not to get killed by petro.

This isnt Pride lol, Pride got bought out by Zuffa, this is Fields Dynamite! 2009 NYE MMa & K-1 event.
Also, you cant expect a guy to fight full muay thai rules with Buakaw when he never fought with his elbows before, thats just wrong lol.
