Lumpini Warriors
March 4, 2009 by nopstar

Many thanks to Gusnark for sending this along… it’s a HL reel of the 30 years of action at Lumpini. You need to get past the intro, but there are some incredible clips in this reel.
I did a post ages ago about what it means to where that belt. These are individuals who’ve dedicated their lives to reaching the pinnacle of their sport/art. I have a profound respect for the work and discipline it must have taken to achieve those goals.
Talk about motivation, I should have included this clip in the motivation post. I’ve watched this clip through a couple of times and it gets me fired up to train.
The Sakmongkol/Jongsanan clip never get’s old for me. To me that is the ultimately example of being hard as nails. I love sharing that clip with people. If any of you are fortunate enough to train with Noom aka Jongsanan as him about the battle. He’s got some great war stories… if you do see him around tell I said wassup!
There are just too many stars and legends in this vid to name them all. Anyway big thanks to scorpion for putting this together and sharing it with us.

Great clip!
It get’s you pretty pumped, doesn’t it!
:)
Great clip!
Great post! I’m definitely watching this again before I head out to the gym tonight..
Caught this the other day on K-1 Fans, instant motivation. Elbow War never gets old, and honestly the music was oddly appropriate. Excellent clip. Shunsuke needs to compile a nice MT clip as well : )
I am a totalt Highligts Clip Junkie, I actually downloaded this Highligt before I saw it on this Site. And Shunsukes “Die in a Dream” Highlight with Buakaw in half of the Highlight gets me pumped every time. The “Best of Namsaknoi, The Emperor” highlight on youtube is pretty impressive too. “Muay Thai inspirations” and My very own “3 Nak Muays” is pretty Ok too. And This highlight is very Nice too, I like the beginning with the Old School MT.
I will be seeing Jongsanan this month, I will be sure to tell him. he is giving a seminar at our gym n the 14th. We may have an iron chef throwdown after=), if I have pics/video I will send them to you, Nop.
Great vids! Thanks for posting!
