Ok, my apologies for going off topic but I just can’t help myself. I think this clip has been out for awhile. In it Van Damme is showing off his signature moves. Van Damme watchers will recall these moves were made world famous in “Kickboxer”. Well Van Damme gets a little worked up… eeeew.
Gotta love what he’s wearing though. I know this isn’t a fashion blog, but come on… I think he’s on a one man campaign to bring toit acid wash pants back. I don’t know who is more of a chafe, VD or Steven Seagal?
I’m trying to figure out how I can edit him out of the vid, so that I can just watch the talent.
Van Damme Fighting?
Also in VD news, I came across this clip the other day where he’s speaking with reporters. In it he says he’s trying to negotiate a fight at the Tokyo Dome. I can only imagine he’s talking to someone at K-1. I hope it’s true, I would love to see Jerome open up a can of whoop ass on him. Shit, actually I’d like to see the boys of K-1 Max tee of on him.
I’d personally be willing to pay at least $75 to see it. The countless HL clips and pics alone is worth that. Any of you guys here about it? How much would you pay to see this fight happen?
I heard about that shit where VD wants to fight. It is just a bullshit pub. stunt. Wesley Snipes tried to do the same thing with the UFC. He wanted to fight poor ol’ VD in the octagon. The UFC said they could do a fight between Snipes and Joe Rogan. Rogan actually said he would sign and Snipes wanted no part of it.
But yeah, I would pay to see it. It would be terrible. And funny. The facial expression on the first point of contact would be priceless.
Its all crap. I heard about a while back. VD is in no way going to be able to be in with any Max fighter, let alone the HWs of K-1.
Weird.
If he did fight it would be a work with a Japanese fighter.
