Lamsongkram vs. Pavel

I found this fight the other day on K-1fans, many thanks to Pac4life for the rip.
This bout took place on the 18th of January somewhere in China. I think the WBC must have put on the event. If any of you guys please do tell…
I’ll see if I can get some more info on the event, bit of a mismatch really. Abozny Pavel is a Russian fighter I did some digging and he’s an Intercontinental and European WKA kickboxing champion, enough said I guess.
I wasn’t able to make out if this was a full Muay Thai rules event? It looked to me on several occasions Lamsongkram threw some as pavel went down. Anyway I’m always glad to see Chai in action.
I guess the moral of this fight is don’t get your ass beat in China or they’ll laugh at you? What the hell was that all about? Pavel was clearly paying the price from those inside leg kicks and the audience clearly thought that was humorous… pricks.
I don’t like fights like that :(
Mismatches aren’t good for the sport.
yeah, the only people that laugh at that stuff are people who don’t know what a cut kick feels like…. especially not one from Lam!
I think the crowd is laughing because of homeboy’s facial expression when he got kicked on the inside let. You could tell how painful it was and he made no effort to hold back his grimace when it landed. You could almost see him screaming inside ” F%&K that hurts!!! “.
And that had to be full MT rules, 2 of the knockdowns were from huge elbows. I always like the way Lam throws those, totally swinging for the fences.

Putting a kickboxer with a top nak muay is a big mistake. Painful to watch.
KInda evil laughing at a loosing, hurting Fighter, but maybe its cultural??????? Nice Thai win, Mismatch, yes, but I sent this link to a Kickboxing friend of mine, who have deliousion of grandure!!
Lam was very thoughtful not KOing Pavel.
The fight was a total mismatch. That being said, Lamsongkram’s timing is perfect. At times the match almost looked choreographed. The way he timed some of his push kicks and elbows was amazing.
It is announced by the chinese commentator at 5:17 that this match is a full Thai ruled match…5x3mins…

Total mismatch indeed….BUT the Jomthong fight was much worse, 5 Rounds of complete ass whooping.

Agreed with the mismatch comments, however, these guys (meaning the Thais) fight so much that they are bound to have mismatches every now and then. I mean I doubt there are many other Nak Muays out there that have a hundred fights or so.
