I was really looking forward to this one… Kongsak who was recently named “Fighter of the Year” up against the “Fighter of the Decade”? This bout took place a couple of nights ago at Lumpini.

Not sure who shot this footage, but many thanks to the Team at Sinbi for posting and sharing this. You might want to turn down the sound a bit, the screeching from the Saenchai’s groupies is almost too much bare. By the cheers it sounded as if they gamblers had a fair bit riding on Kongsak… It looks like Kongsak got some of his confidence back in the later rounds, but the great one is far too experienced and crafty to stand in front of Kongsak and take it.
Kongsak is known for his crushing kicks, never really got a chance to use them… great fight nonetheless.

The “great one” was electric and explosive for this fight!

This win will definitely boost up Sanchai into possibly becoming the best ever. Still doing this at the age where most nak muays retire and become pad holders. Still beating young guns at their prime age…

Man, I like that same side kick and straight punch technique that Kongsak was doing. I’ve drilled those at school and I just can’t seem to flow it like that.
