Kiatphontip, No Reservations

August 26, 2009 by nopstar

Not sure if you’ve guys have ever seen this show.  It’s one of my favorites… it combines 2 things I’m pretty passionate about, food and traveling.  If any of you have been in Thailand or looking to go soon, you’ll appreciate this episode.  Watched this episode on an empty stomach bad move…. damn I miss Thailand.

Towards the end of the show, they head over to one of MMT’s favorite camps; Kiatphonthip. Our man Matt did a nice write up on Kiatphontip few months back.  And before I get a cease and desist email from the travel channel… I would just like to say that I’m a huge fan of the show, and I’m just trying to bring your work to a different audience.

Bonus points for anyone who can identify the fighter they show in the clips fighting at Rajadomnern.

Saw that! I thought you might do a piece on this episode. Did you notice Rob Cox at the end of the episode? He was having a meal with Bourdain and others.

I love this show. I like how Tony can be respectful but still say what he thinks. In all the episodes I’ve seen he comes off as authentic and not at all ass-kissing to a culture, but respectful too. Not like Dhani Takes on the Globe or whatever that show was. This was a great episode. Thanks Nop, I didn’t see this one until now.

can’t believe they put subtitles up when I spoke! :( what with me speaking proper English and all…
Was great to have them at the gym and they put in an incredible amount of work to get the show out.
    Sakadpetch’s opponent is Petchasawin Seatransferry
