K-1 Khan Results – Kyshenko vs. Lim

August 3, 2007 by nopstar

So it’s good to see some of the clips of the action finally coming in. I guess I should be happy to get these at all. As always if you guys have access or can record any of these events, please let me know. As always many, many thanks to WeLoveKamatari for sharing.

So I’m putting up a Artur Kyshenko page today, I definitely think he’s here to stay. That being said, I still have some lingering doubts about how well he’ll perform against Buakaw, Masato et al. In his last fight against Soo Hwan Lee, he basically walked through Lee. Despite his victory over Lim, it looked Lim was giving him some troubles initially; it appeared as if he was having difficulties finding his range.

I know Bin, trains out of Taewoong gym, which is a Muay Thai gym, maybe he’s just never been on the receiving end of a leg kick as nasty as Kyshenko’s. Watching the video, I wanted to slap Lee, he honestly looked liked he was about to start crying at the end there.

I see a few spots Kyshenko need to work on. Buakaw’s left will put him to work.

He dresses like the Irish Lumberjack. Lim was tagging Kyshenko pretty good in the first round, but it was over after a few leg kicks.

I actually had lim ahead in the first round.
I donthink leg kicks will work against buakaw I don’t care how hard they are. as a matter of fact I would hope he dosent get kicked in the leg by buakaw. And buakaw only will need one clean punch to drop Kyshenko. he will have a lot of problem buakaw left leg. I only see him doing well if he get a lucky shot.
    otherwise buakaw all day

That Kyshenko kid really likes Plaid!!!!!!! I don’t think his opponent is the same level as the top K1 guys. Masato, drago, souwer, etc. would give him a good fight.

This is the second IIRC that Lim has been defeated by leg kicks. Last time it was by Kohi. How can you get beaten by leg kicks at this level?

I don’t know how I missed the plaid, what’s up with that? That a Ukrainian thing?

    ShawnN-
I tried finding out more info on Lim, because I was thinking the same thing. He was wearing the TKD instep protector which made me wonder… but he trains at a MT gym. I don’t know what to think.

Either he was injured or it’s because he’s closer to a lightweight. Watch how Amara, a lightweight contender and former champ, nearly gets picked apart by lowkicks as well. Lim hasn’t accomplished much at super-welter and it’s a shame fighters have to move up 2 weightclasses to get there. Yuya Yamamoto settled at welterweight and he’s had a lot of succes and last week beat Jimmy Eimers. Although he has talked about moving back up to 70 KG…

Kyshenko actually lost to HAYATO, don’t know if the English K-1 site got it wrong or not. Kyshenko nearly had him out in the first round, but HAYATO started coming through with some bombs later on.

The business loans suppose to be useful for guys, which are willing to start their own company. As a fact, that is easy to get a car loan.
