K-1 GP Hong Kong – Peter Graham vs. Badr Hari

Well you guys saw all the hype leading up to this re-match. Was it everything you had hoped for? I have to say, although it wasn’t the outcome I was looking for It was nice to see some skills in GP.

I often talk about how I think K-1 GP has turned into such a circus sideshow, I’m almost always left feeling underwhelmed after watching one of these events. I know most of you Choi, and Sapp fans, will disagree but it’s fighters like Hari, who are going to keep K-1 alive.

I’m thankful for Graham KTFO of Hari. If he didn’t Badr might not have been put into a position to do some serious life evaluation shit.

I’m continually impressed with Hari’s speed, he moves like he’s a MAX fighter. It’s got to be nearly impossible to get out of range of those kicks.

Graham on the other hand…didn’t look as if he could get anything going. He had a few leg kicks, and that was about it. Graham’s “rolling thundah” kick reminds me of the Haymaker or special move your video game character has. You continually go to it, no matter how many times you whiff. Come on Peter, once was bad enough but twice? By the way did you catch that welt on Graham’s side?

On a sportsman ship tip, I was genuinely glad to see them bow to each other, and give each other props. I’m glad to see that after all the BS, they can still be professionals.
