K-1 Freakshow

February 5, 2007 by nopstar

Have you ever watched the world strongest man competition? You know where they race to stack 300 lbs. balls or push a 400 lbs. tractor tire 100 meters. Really intellectually stimulating stuff… It’s fucked up but ever since I saw one of the contestants snap his leg carrying a refrigerator, I’ll leave it on for at least a min before changing the channel. The 2003 winner, Marius Pudzianowski is apparently in talks with K-1. He supposedly has been doing Karate since he was 9. I hope he’s got some skills, I’m tired of watching the freak show K-1 has become.

I personally feel K-1 is in a downward descent. When you get guys like, Hong min Choi, Bobb Sapp, Akebono, and Giant Silva… your not interested in good fighting. Your just selling tickets to the freak show. I know they are trying to appeal to a larger audience but there’s a fine line before you start looking like the WWF. If they didn’t have K-1 Max, I would be really worried.

[...] K-1 rumors flying, a few weeks ago I posted some news that K-1 was looking to recruit Marius Pudzianowski. I thought it this was typical K-1 sideshow type shit. This week I came across another rumor, [...]
