Not taking anything away from Jabba, but I thought this fight better reflected the actual difference in abilities than their first fight.

I've always liked JWP—I'm a total fan-boy actually. His style isn't classic thai, but his attitude and heart are :)

As far as JWP being slow . . . To me it looked like there was space between seeing an opportunity and implementing something (particularly early on). I might watch it again—perhaps I was mistaken.

JWP looked huge compared to Jabba. I give mad props for Jabba taking all those shots from Parr for the last 2 rounds. I think he can go down further in weight and do well.

Just to clarify:

I'm mainly disappointed that the fight wasn't as close as the last one they had. I was hoping Dzhabar would have had a better night against JWP. But either way, respect to both.

I too am not a big fan of JWP. I don't like his style or technique much. But he is a world class fighter, and has accomplished great things in the sport, and I have great respect for him as a fan of muay thai

Anyways, like I said, I was most let down that the fight itself wasn't as close as I expected. Hopefully they'll meet in the ring again one day.

I don't know what people are talking about JWP being slow. Most of his shots were faster than they were powerful. Hi's kicks have never been lightening fast though.

He completely overwhelmed Jabba. So busy.

Parr is barely 30 I thought. No doubt there is a lot of wear and tear on him after so many fights for a westerner. JWP has never been a super clean puncher but it does seem to get it done for the most part.

I'm not huge fan of JWP either but I think Parr had a fairly strong showing.

Crazy rumor is he's now going to box Bika from the international boxing Contender. That'd be a first - 2 guys from Burnett's 2 different Contenders fighting each other.

They both box kind of the same way. It'd be a pretty messy but entertaining fight though I'd think in this stage of their respective careers Bika wins this one.

I only enjoyed the last couple of rounds where JWP really dominated. I find his punches to be borderline brawly at the start of his fights and it looks sloppy.

Disappointing? Really?

I thought it was a great fight, personally. JWP fought exactly like a mature, ageing Nak Muay should. Measured, experienced, technical and explosive. Dhzabar was twitching all over the place. It was shameful that he was exhausted at the end of the fight given that he's like, 22. JWP paced himself perfectly, and I think it was a great display.

But he still did a good job.

With all due respect...I was disappointed in the fight. At least it went the distance though.
