Once again, many thanks to Loopnoub for uploading and sharing with us. This fight took place back in December in Lyon as part of the A1 world challenge.
Some of you might remember there was some controversy surrounding the event… this was the show, the French promoter (Marouf) stiffed the Chuwattana fighters.
Anyway, that’s old news. I wonder if he’s put on any shows since? Anyway this clip is of Jomthong Chuwattana vs. Albert Chey. Jomthong is unleashing some savage arm kicks on Chey. I’m honestly surprised that he was able to continue using them. I suspect Chey must do a lot of arm conditioning drills…

boxing history has it that rocky marciano, being shorter than most opponents would wail on their arms a lot until they started to drop their guards….maybe chuwattana took a page from his book…

chey is tough!! i believe he was at the 2007 king’s cup tournament representing france. nice style, tough as nails.

Watchin’ Jomthong in action got me reminiscing about the SAMKOR days!!!!!! My favorite combination from him Left kick/left kick/left kick/left kick…..followed by another left kick!!!!….Can’t go wrong!!!!!! :-D

Completely a side bar topic. But 1st mad props to Nop for making it known that some promoters do screw people and habitually fighters never speak out on it for fear of being blacklisted or otherwise have their careers harmed.
It needs to happen far more often than it does. While I play friendly as much as I possibly can I cannot and will not ignore my conscience. Its getting pretty bad and the more I follow the trail of crumbs the more far reaching it becomes. I could ignore it all and do a fluff press release machine and have access to everyone and assure myself much acclaim or I can attempt to to tell the truth and abide by whats right as much as possible.
Matter of factly Nop we were both used and I don’t take being f’ed with and told a line of BS lightly or happily.
