Good catch. I just got the DVD a week ago and mentioned the exact same things to my GF. Wonder why Jean Claude didn’t do any kicks in his scene since that was what he was known for.

I'm fucking useless... I can't believe I didn't recognize him. His name is Somluck, he's the only Thai to ever win gold at the Olympics ('96). I thought he looked familiar but didn't think anything about it. Nice catch cowpaste.

I watched it in Chiang Mai and saw that scene. Everybody in the theatre cheered when they saw him. Apparently, from what I hear, that Thaiboxer wants to play Nai Khnom Tom in a movie.
