Jet Li’s Fearless (Deleted Scene)
January 30, 2007 by nopstar
Any of you catch this yet? So apparently if you saw “Fearless” in the States, you didn’t see Jet li fight the Muay Boran guy… Once again Youtube to the rescue. Here is the scene, Oh and welcome to the wonderful world of Thai dubbing. Thai dubbing is the worst… I think there are 5 people in the entire country who dub movies. I’m so tired of them. Great scene though… the little kid is getting worked. That’s what we used to get at my house if you reached across the table.
Also did you guys recognize the English Boxer? Yup it’s non-other than Jean Claude Leuyer, ex Fairtex Heavyweight Champion. I’m glad he’s in another flick, I got tired of seeing him in the Peter Aerts KO highlight clips.

That’s a famous Thai boxer. :)
I watched it in Chiang Mai and saw that scene. Everybody in the theatre cheered when they saw him. Apparently, from what I hear, that Thaiboxer wants to play Nai Khnom Tom in a movie.
I’m fucking useless… I can’t believe I didn’t recognize him. His name is Somluck, he’s the only Thai to ever win gold at the Olympics (‘96). I thought he looked familiar but didn’t think anything about it.
Nice catch cowpaste.
Good catch. I just got the DVD a week ago and mentioned the exact same things to my GF. Wonder why Jean Claude didn’t do any kicks in his scene since that was what he was known for.
It’s actually kinda funny but…a lot of people consider me to be Somluck’s look-alike! :P
i prefer this version’s dubbing
hahaha nice… here is the best comment from the mouth breathers on youtube:
“He didn’t do enough crouching fierce obviously.”
Ohhh Somluck! He’s very popular in thailand. I’ve been told by the thai that he only fights for the King on the King’s birthday celibration.
[...] Last week I posted a clip of a deleted scene from Jet Li’s Fearless. In Jet Li agrees to take a beating on behalf of the kid. If you haven’t seen it you should. The dubbing is so bad, you want the kid to get beat even more. Anyway, many of you pointed out that the Guy Jet Li is fighting in none other then Somrak Khamsing. Somrak is the first Thai to win gold at the Olympics (’96). Since then He’s done a couple B movies and has attempted to launch his singing career. [...]
