This was a widely anticipated bout because of the extremely large side bet (3.9 Million THB or $120K) made by Khamsing and the Sitmonchai team.

Both fighters are currently ranked in the in the top 10 at lumpini Yodkhunphon 3rd and 7th.  (122 lb)

As you can see from the clip, Yodkhunphon came out hard and fast.  I posted a clip yesterday of Yodkhunphon vs. Tong Puideenaidee who’s the current Lumpini champion.

Yodkhunphon  (Muu) is on the move, he’s young (18) with a massive payday and possible shot at the Lumpini title things are looking bright for him.

Yodkhunphon fights with a typical Sitmonchai style he’s soared through ranks, he’s earned a quite a reputation for  knocking out opponents.

If your promoter and you’d like to have Yodkhunphon on one of your shows, drop me a line!

  1. Somluck was supposed to fight JCVD right? Did that ever pan out?

    • im pretty sure that was a fake hype fight that was never going to happen. marketing campaign for jean claudes reality show and somluck got paid a little.

      • Probably flaked on the fight the moment he got signed for Expendables 2

  2. Yodkhunphon Sitmonchai is the future!!! What a beast! Its been amazing watching him work his way up the ranks from the first time I saw him in 2010 at Sitmonchai to now! He will go far, I am sure of that.

    • he punches like an ox.

i dont see what else is there. in his fight with tong he didnt have much after tong knew how to deal with muu’s full power punches.

      • Well, Tong was ten years older and current Lumpinee champion. Wait what this kid will do after some years of experience.

        • I kind of see what SE is saying here tho. That sitmonchai, muay mak style, seems to be very effective and its a great crowd pleaser, but if they fail to stop their opponants they are going to inevitibly lose.As I said on the Pornsenae post its great to watch but very one dimensional.Im not sure experience will make that much more difference to this style. He may however get stronger with man strength at 21 + years. As hes only 18 now and a power house. So it may be difficult to weather his storm so to speak?

  3. Yeah, Tong has the benefit of experience on top of being one of the smartest fighters on the circuit – he can figure out another fighter like no one else. Watch him take his time for a few rounds nutting it out before he completely turns a fight around. Anyway, Muu has a massive future. Sure, he’ll reach a point where he’s current game plan no longer carries him, but that’s most fighters and he seems capable of changing up.
