Introducing Greg Wootton

1

Hello MMT, today I’m excited to introduce to you Greg Wootton.  Those of you in Europe will know Greg as he’s been tearing it up on this of the Atlantic for a couple of years now. Greg is a friend as is one of the nicest most, humble guys you’ll meet, a true embodiment of the Nak Muay spirit.   He’s supremely conditioned and tough as nails…  Greg has got a bout in just under 5 weeks with the Thai Sports Writers “Fighter of the Year” award winner, Pakorn PK Sanchai Muay Thai gym. They’ll be fighting on March 8th at the Reebok Arena in Bolton, UK.  If you haven’t purchased your tix, shame on you… you can do so here.  Other notable fights, Liam Harrison vs. Damien Alamos (Singpatong Gym)

It’s a huge honor for Greg, and will undoubtedly be his biggest challenge yet in his young and fruitful career.  Pakorn… is Pakorn he’s a beast.

Greg is  30-2 with a WMC MAD title and recently earned a belt Enfusion K1 Belt. He’s been a very long winning streak, building momentum… When I first moved to London from California I trained with Greg.  I’ve always been impressed with his maturity, work ethic, and calm.  I recall photographing him several years back minutes before his fight.  No pacing, no attitude, no chest pumping… just calm.

He’s got a big year in front of him, after his bout with Pakorn he’s slated to take on Liam Harrison in June.  It’s probably one of the most anticipated bouts in the UK for this year.
