The other day I got an email from Zig Zach that he had just arrived in town and would be around for a couple of days. I think great, maybe it’s time to do the first ever interview on MyMuayThai.com

It was good to meet Zach, he’s good peeps. We met at a tube stop and headed off in search of drink and food. A little fact, when Zach isn’t fighting he’s spinning. We dropped by a nondescript watering hole to say hello to one of his Singaporean Dj friends.
We were quickly running out of light to do our interview so we went out back… if it looks like we did the interview in an alley under a busted street lamp, well it’s because we did. The picture quality could be better, but it’s only my second time editing video… I figure the next few should improve dramatically.
Afterwards we walked down the famed Bricklane looking for some curry. Walking through Brick lane is like navigating Patpong in Bangkok. Instead of being harassed every 10 ft. for a sex show, you’re harassed every 5ft. to come try their curry. We got our grub on and talked a lot of shit.
I know he’s busy keeping up his own blog, but I’d like to see if I couldn’t recruit him to be our roving reported from the front lines. Zach is a friend of My Muay Thai and I wish him only the best in his fight career.

Nice interview Nop. Zach seems alright
and its cool to hear about his experiences. You definitely have to do more of these in the future.
I think MMT needs to get enough clout to get me a press pass for the July 5th event in KL and I can try and do some roving reporting. I am definitely going to that. Cant believe I didnt here about that before??? — Mr. Duxton should have let me know well before.
Anyway, nice interview and look forward to more on MMT.

Great interview. I hope we see more in the future.
And I don’t think you can really consider anything an alley unless you’ve got a hobo pissing on a dumpster nearby.

Great interview Nop. Greatly appreciated, u did a great job. U can tell from the Contender series that Zig Zag is a very cool guy. His blog is great, I like to stop there every once in a while. I said it b4 but I love the fact that he’s such a technical fighter…I hope to see a lot more of him.

Very nice interview- down to earth, both the interview and Zach. Best of luck to him!
Remember when we used to train out of Fairtex in a much “dodgier” alley than that one, Mai? I remember seeing a few despicable acts and running into filthy hobos when leaving the gym at night.

Good interview Nopstar.
I liked the ‘fodder’ apology
I hope you can get an interview with Rafik sometime. I’d love to see you ask him if he really is a tool, or was he just acting.

Good interview start. Zach seems a little like a ham but then again I don’t think that Muay Thai fighters are getting interviewed that much. Perhaps we’ll see a turn around in the celebrity status of fighters?

who cares about the celeb status of fighters.
awesome interview. cant wait to see zach and all the contender guys in the ring again.
