Here’s the last installment of ’s great mini documentary series “Inside the fight, USA vs. Thailand.”

I was surprised at tolerating this one. As I’ve stated before I’m not a big fan of Schilling’s character, but in this he comes across as pretty… normal.

Props to Marty Rockatansky for his awesome photo.

Enjoy!

About mlucas

Born to a working class family in rural New York I grew up working like a dog and drinking Natural light in the woods. After a brief stint attempting to escape the poverty of employment via university I gave up on escaping the grind and moved to sunny California where the burritos are as generous as the weather. I work in the service industry slinging booze and food. I got into Muay Thai as a recreational activity. I saw an interclub fight and decided to try it out, everyone has to test their mettle somehow. A few fights and a year later I was in Thailand training, and fighting. I haven’t quit stepping into the ring since. I currently live in West Oakland and balance my time blocking punches with my head with attempting to prevent brain deterioration through writing, studying Thai; language, culture and history, and going to wild dance parties with my friends.

  1. Well, that`s often the epiphany these days, no? In this age of instant gratis mass media people are often characterized by the few remarkable events that get broadcasted. But oftentimes in reality when we see these insights we realize they are just as human as we are..imperfections et al.

  2. ^^exactly. It’s a one of those ‘double edged sword’ kind of things when it comes to people in the spotlight only being seen in a certain light. On one hand it can be good because it gives ‘famous’ people this mystique but on the other hand people forget that they are just humans like everyone else and don’t get to see any other side to them other then the one in the public eye.

    • Yeah but what they show is you. Even if its out of context. Like you seem like a chill, respectful, laidback, all business(sans the hair) kind guy. That whT I gathered from ur vids. Not so much with joe. Its not like these clips were super pro edited by reality show writers…..

  3. Huggy, sorry to hear about the injury….I was looking forward to ur bout with Matt Embree. Feel well soon, brother!
